October the 10th is ” World Mental Health Day”, and the challenge is to light up the world in purple.
I am personally challenging all Hamiltonian’s to come and take part in this great cause, to start I need 50 people to each come and get one of our waterfall spotlamps and find something to light up in Purple.
It can be a tree, monument, structure, waterfall, anything you can think of.
We will have several “test nights” so you can first see how your illumination will go as well, and grab your camera and take some test shots.
We will also have some people to help you with your camera settings as well, head to our face book page for some great help.
The important thing is for you to be able to take pictures of what you did that night, we will have a complete social media protocol available for you to follow as well.
City Hall will be lit in purple that night as well.
We have about 50 spotlamps which we will supply with a purple filter, each lamp emits 25 million candlepower, weighs about 5 lbs, has a shoulder strap and will have enough battery power for 1-1.5 hours of illumination time.
For further details stay tuned here and our social media outlets and please visit http://lightuppurple.com/
Send us an email if you would like a lamp and to learn more about how you can take part.
