Oak Knoll Falls

Oak Knoll Falls has a crest width of 4 feet, or 1.2 metres. Its height is 25 feet, or 7.6 metres.

History

The site of Oak Knoll Falls was originally “found” by Chris Ecklund, but there was no water flowing at the time of his visit. On December 28, Joe Hollick and Phil Armishaw found it in full flow, both from the karst feature beside it and the ravine above.

According to Joe Hollick, “What is exciting about this waterfall is that it has a karst feature beside it (similar to Taro Falls) where a secondary waterfall emerges from a crevice in the rock face.”

How to get there

Oak Knoll Falls is located on the north side of the parking lot for Oak Knoll Park just north of Buttermilk Falls on Mountain Brow Boulevard.
