Wow, what a winter this has been, and our friends to the east are still getting walloped by old man winter to an extent not seen before in this great country of ours.
It is time we showed old man winter the door ( feel free to inject expletives ) and substitute part of anatomy, etc….LOL.
Tomorrow is Friday March 20th, which is officially the 1st day of spring, starting at 6pm.
Shortly after 6p.m, shouts of joy, and excessive shouting will be heard across the country.
Excessive horn honking will be looked upon favourably, truckers drain those air tanks down to your buzzers, dogs please melt any remaining snow on your walks.
Its time to party Canada, this has been a brutal winter.
Here are the directions to great falls. https://www.cityofwaterfalls.ca/great-falls/
RED FRIDAY
On every Friday Canadians across the Country wear RED in honour of our service men and women, and this Friday we will continue our tradition of honouring a fallen soldier with a RED FRIDAY illumination in memory of Sergeant Doiron, whom was KIA in Iraq, 2 weeks ago http://www.canadianheroes.com/rip-sergeant-andrew-joseph-doiron/
The evening will start with the waterfall illuminated in Red for the first 15 minutes. We will have free Canadian Flags to hand out as well, please be respectful and honour our fallen hero in silence.
At approx 815pm we will switch the lamps over to 7 different colours, each representing shades that we will all soon see on the landscape across Canada. This will continue till approx 9:15p.m
Please remember as usual to bring a food donation to the food bank.
