Tallman East Falls is a Plunge Classic
Falls with a Cascade section. Its height is between 3 metres
(10 feet) and 9 m depending on how much of the cascades are
included. Its
width is 1.8 m (6 feet). It experiences stronger flow during
peak storm events and after the winter snow melt.
History
This waterfall was discovered in 2005 by Nadeem Paracha
and originally was called Vinemount East Falls.
It was learned that the Tallman family has lived
on this property since the 1800's and still live there,
thus the name of the waterfall was changed to Tallman East
Falls in the HCA Waterfall Report dated November 1, 2007.
Tallman East Falls
is located on the third ravine above the Bruce Trail as you go westward from
McNeilly Road.
