Puddicombe Falls is a Talus Ribbon Cascade
measuring 6 metres (20 feet) in height and 2 metres (6.5 feet)
in crest width. It is the easternmost waterfall in Hamilton,
located above the Bruce Trail east of Fifty Road, just before
Hamilton's eastern boundary on a tributary of Fifty Creek.
History
Puddicombe Falls was "discovered" by Jody Tait of
the Hamilton Conservation Authority and Joe Hollick in 2007 when
they were out doing GPS on other waterfalls in the area. It is
named after the Puddicombe family, who have owned the adjacent
lands for over two hundred years. The following is a link to
their website: http://www.puddicombefarms.com/home.php

How to get there
What is unique to the Bruce Trail at this location is that
Puddicombe has created a side trail from the Bruce Trail to
their farm and winery and they have erected a sign on the Bruce
Trail indicating this. So if you are hiking the Bruce Trail and
need a
snack or drink, follow this side trail. I have attached a photo
of the sign situated on the Bruce Trail. Puddicombe Falls is
located east of this sign.
