Fruitland Falls is a Fan Ribbon Cascade located on
the Fruitland Creek. Its height is 8.5 metres (28 feet) and
its width is 1.8 metres (6 feet). Its strongest flow is during
peak storms and the seasonal snow melt.
History
Fruitland Falls was first mentioned on the website belonging
to Mark Harris from about 2002/2003.
How to get there
This is a beautiful waterfall to view and is well worth
the long walk along the tracks to it. It is located about
1 km east of Dewitt Rd. on the south side of the railway
tracks. Again be careful walking along the tracks as trains
do go by.
