Duchess Falls is connected to Lower Princess
Falls. The latter flows under Hwy 403, and outlets on the other
side of the highway, creating Duchess Falls. Its width is 5 ft.
(1.5 m) and its height is 14 ft. (4.2 m).
History
Jordan Allen from our Facebook group discovered Duchess Falls.
He and Joe Hollick visited it on October 15. Jordan suggested
that since this waterfall is lower or below the two Princess
Falls, that it should be named Duchess Falls because a duchess
is lower than a princess!

How to get there
To reach Duchess Falls, go to the dead end of Iona Avenue,
just past Brodick Street and follow the creek upstream to just
before Hwy 403. The storm box culvert from under the highway
outlets there, forming a waterfall.
