We are pleased to announce that the winner of the T-shirt
competition and the $1000 prize is David Rees of
Hamilton. David's stunning photo of Webster's Falls is to the
left.
The judges were so impressed by the color, composition, and
lighting that we asked David to write a 'how to' article for
a new section called Waterfall
Photography.
This picture will be appearing on the first ever City of Waterfalls
T-shirt, which, when ready, will be available for purchase
via the website.
It was a tough decision for our judges, because everyone sent
in amazing photos. That's why we could not announce a winner
until five days after the contest closed! Many of the pictures
sent in will be used on our planned series of waterfalls postcards.
Those whose images are chosen for this purpose will be contacted
in advance, and credited on the postcard.
Everyone who entered the contest should be very proud. You've
taken photos of the natural wonders that make Hamilton such
a beautiful place to call home.
