Awards
The Hamilton waterfalls received a big boost at the 2008
Ontario Tourism Awards gala banquet held on Tuesday, October
7, 2008 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in front of
400 guests.
Joseph Hollick won the award for the Best
Travel Photography for his poster "Waterfalls
of Hamilton Spring" as per the following information:

Travel Photography Award
This award category applies to any published photography,
magazines, newspapers, independent photographers and television
broadcasts in North America and internationally that feature
Ontario as a compelling travel destination.
We have included some photos: one of the trophy, one with
Joe holding it and one with Joe and the Ontario Minister of
Tourism.
As Joe was walking up to accept the award, they were showing
the pictures from his poster on the big screen and his wife
Marilyn could hear people in the audience saying: Is that Hamilton?
