Little Canterbury Falls is a Ribbon Cascade
located on a tributary of the Sulphur Creek (also called Canterbury
Creek). It is 5 metres (16 feet) tall and has a crest width of
1 metre (3 feet). It experiences its strongest flow during seasonal
storms and after the winter snow melt.

How to get there

To reach this waterfall, follow the Bruce Trail southwest from
Sherman Falls (at the intersection of Old Dundas Rd. and
Lions Club Road) about 800 m. It is located beside the Bruce
Trail at the first wooden bridge over a small ravine. This
bridge used to span the larger ravine nearby above Canterbury
Falls. However, a new bridge was built for Canterbury Falls
and that bridge was moved to Little Canterbury Falls in
2007 by the Iroquoia Section of the Bruce Trail. Thank you
to Paul Beneteau, Klaus Truderung and their staff of volunteers
for moving this bridge!
